AI automation for law firms.

Client correspondence, contract analysis, deadline monitoring, the repetitive tasks of a law firm eat up the calendar. We automate what can be automated, so that your legal work comes first.

The bottleneck in a law firm: time you cannot bill.

Six time drains that slow mid-sized law firms down.

Client correspondence

Standard letters, status reports, follow-up questions, every letter drafted by hand, every time pulled together from the case file. It devours the productive time of lawyers and support staff.

Draft in minutes, lawyer reviews

Contract analysis

Lease, employment and supply contracts, recurring clauses have to be checked for risk. Experienced lawyers do this quickly, but it ties expensive working time to repetitive reading.

Clause extraction and risk rating

Deadline monitoring and reminders

Deadlines are kept in several systems, reminders run via email, notes and calendar. Mistakes are costly, they lead to liability.

Central deadline control with escalation

Document management

Scans, emails, Word drafts, spread across case folders, drives and the document management system. Searching for an opinion from two years ago takes longer than writing the opinion again.

AI-powered full-text search across all files

Case law research

Rulings, commentaries, literature, every case handling needs a research branch. juris, beck-online, NJW-Online are opened in parallel, references noted down by hand.

Case law bundle for the matter

Billing under RVG

Determining amounts in dispute, assigning fee items, recording expenses, every cost note individually. Often at the end of the month, when time is at its tightest.

RVG invoice drafted at the click of a button

What we automate in law firms in practice.

Brief drafts from the case file

Reminders, statements of defense, submissions, the AI reads the file, draws on facts and correspondence and delivers a structured draft. The lawyer reviews, adds and signs.

Contract review with clause extraction

Incoming contracts are checked for critical clauses (liability, termination, jurisdiction). The AI flags deviations from the firm standard and suggests wording.

Automatic deadline reminders

Deadlines are detected from briefs and court mail and anchored in the calendar, with lead time, escalation and file reference. No missed key dates.

Case law research for the matter

From the facts, the AI extracts the core legal questions and delivers relevant rulings, commentary references and articles, your lawyer gets pre-structured research.

Status reports to clients

From file and calendar comes a clear status report: what has happened, what is coming up, which deadline. Quarterly, project-based or on request.

AI full-text document search

Across all archived files you find opinions, complaints and drafts in seconds. The AI understands legal questions, not just keywords.

RVG invoice creation

From file, amount in dispute and fee items, an RVG cost note is drafted automatically. Your firm reviews, corrects and sends it.

A typical case from a mid-sized law firm.

Mid-sized law firm, 12 lawyers plus back office

A firm focused on employment, commercial and business law. Before the project: standard briefs, reminders, statements of defense, requests for deadline extensions, cost 45 to 60 minutes each. That meant the lawyer was typing boilerplate instead of doing client work.

After the rollout: the AI delivers the draft in two minutes straight from the RA-MICRO file. The lawyer reviews, adds the statement of facts and conclusion, 15 minutes per brief. The time gained flows into billable matter work and client contact.

Questions from everyday firm practice.

The AI only delivers a draft. The lawyer reviews it, adds the statement of facts, performs the legal assessment and signs. That means full legal responsibility stays with you, the AI replaces the typing, not the thinking.
Fully. Data processing in the EU, no sharing with third parties, no use for public AI training. A data processing agreement is in place. On request, we set the solution up on-premise in your firm, so no record ever leaves your building.
Yes. We work through the RA-MICRO API or with direct access to the case file. Briefs, deadlines and cost notes are written where they belong, into your existing firm software.
Dedicated hosting or on-premise. Data flows can be restricted on a per-client basis, so certain files then remain exclusively in your data center. We shape the technical framework around your mandate structure.
The draft and attachment are prepared in the beA mailbox. The qualified electronic signature and the dispatch stay with the lawyer, legally mandatory and deliberately set up that way. You save minutes per brief without giving up control.
A pilot for one use case (typically brief drafts or document search) ranges from 5,000 to 15,000 € depending on scope, and the upfront AI potential analysis (2,500 €) is fully credited. Ongoing operation afterwards is a monthly flat fee. We name the specific range in the initial call.
